Punk rock should mean freedom, liking and excepting anything that you like. Playing whatever you want. As sloppy as you want. As long as it's good and it has passion.

I’ve always thought that the punk ethos has a lot to teach “good” musicians. There’s more to expression than technique. I love watching musicians with great technique but in my opinion it should always be thought of as a means to an end. That end being artistic expression.
