Moeller stroke

This is a great old video of Jim Chapin explaining the famous and mysterious "Moeller Stroke" My drum teacher taught me this technique when I was young and it was really hard, but super worth it once I figured it out. You really get so much more control and finesse. The crazy this is, the more I hear famous drummers explaining it the more it seems everyone has a different opinion about what it really is... The one thing that ties every explanation together is the idea of using the rebound to get maximum economy of motion. Love it!
